I was a panel member of the Journalism & PR Event for PlymLit16, a literature event hosted in Plymouth in 2016. Here I offered my expertise in writing, answered questions on liability and ethics in the media, and engaged in debate with fellow panel members. This followed my success in creating my very own sailing magazine, Voile.

I used my initiative to create not just one, but two magazines over the course of my university career. This was an effort made not for a graded requirement, but through passion and drive alone. In July 2016, I released my first magazine, Voile, through tribe media. In September 2017, I produced a special print edition of SU:Media, the official student newspaper of the University of Plymouth.

Along with my writing projects, I've completed a 120 Hour Premium TEFL Course. In 2017, I applied for a Santander Iberamerican Formula Scholarship which sent me to the Universidad de Málaga for 3 months. Here I enrolled in a Summer Intensive Spanish Course, which allowed me to finish the summer at B1 level.
